Welcome to Shop Modern. This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all online orders placed through www.shopmodern.in.

1. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
  • During peak sale periods, processing may take an additional 1–2 days.

2. Estimated Delivery Time

We ship through trusted courier partners across India.

Delivery Estimates:

  • Metro Cities: 2–5 business days
  • Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities: 3–7 business days
  • Remote Locations: 5–10 business days

Delivery times may vary due to courier delays, weather, or unforeseen issues.

3. Shipping Charges

  • Free Shipping on prepaid orders above ₹499.
  • Standard shipping charges apply for orders below the free-shipping limit.
  • Additional COD charges may apply for Cash on Delivery orders.

4. Order Tracking

  • Once your order is shipped, a tracking link will be sent to your registered email or SMS.
  • You can also check your order status anytime through the “Track Your Order” section on our website.

5. Delivery Attempts

  • The courier partner will make 2–3 delivery attempts.
  • If the order cannot be delivered due to unavailability or incorrect address, it may be returned to us.
  • Re-shipping charges may apply for resending the order.

6. Incorrect or Incomplete Address

  • Shop Modern is not responsible for failed delivery due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information.
  • If the package is returned to us for this reason, the customer will be charged for re-shipment.

7. Shipping Availability

  • We currently ship orders within India only.
  • International shipping is not available at the moment.

8. Damaged or Tampered Package

If your package arrives damaged, tampered, or broken:

  1. Do not accept the delivery.
  2. Take clear photos/videos as proof.
  3. Contact us immediately at customercare@shopmodern.in or 6385154521.

We will assist with a replacement or resolution as per our Return & Exchange Policy.

9. Delivery Delays

Possible causes of delays include:

  • Weather disruptions
  • Courier operational issues
  • High order volumes or festive seasons
  • Remote area restrictions
